Picking up the net
When given the chance, many people will grab the net and
take a swing. This fellow nabbed a nice Graphium
sarpedom. This spot is near the entrance to the spa where I
photographed the H. taminata.
In the hills near Simao, Yunnan Province, I came upon
someone driving, well, pretty bad. Turned out to be a
driving school! One woman, the shorter of the two in these
photos, could speak a little English. It was overcast, so I put
the net down and chatted. The other woman grabbed the net
and started swinging. I was chuckling, especially when she
called out that she had one. And did she - a fresh Sephisa
chandra, the only specimen I have in my collection!
